August 1 to 8, 2026

ServeNC Week is a statewide movement empowering local churches to care for their neighborhoods through practical service projects. Because nobody understands your community better than your own congregation, you are uniquely positioned to make a difference. Explore these ideas and ministry partnerships to help your church plan for ServeNC.

Next steps:

Assess your community. Where do you sense God calling your church?

Choose your project. Pick something that aligns with your gifts and your community’s needs.

Mobilize your people. Make it easy for families, students and volunteers to participate.

Sign up at ServeNC.com. Register your church and your specific project.

Download resources. Order promotional materials and T-shirts at ServeNC.com.

When churches across our state rise up to serve, we show the watching world that N.C. Baptists are on mission together. We demonstrate that we are a movement of disciples who make disciples by loving our communities.

Sign up today at ServeNC.com. Every church. Every community.

Any project. Any day.

Don’t forget that TBA is offering funds for those who are participating in ServeNC.  Let us know your plans for Serve NC and the approximate cost for these projects.  A check will be sent to the church.

The Preach Better Conference is a one-day regional event designed to serve N.C. Baptist pastors by adding practical tools to your preaching toolbox. In partnership with The Center for Preaching and Pastoral Leadership at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary and Fruitland Baptist Bible College, this conference offers:

Tailored training for your local church: Directly applicable whether you have 20 people in the pews or 2,000. Immediate & practical frameworks: Gain actionable tools you can implement quickly. Regional connection: Be equipped by practitioners and theologians who understand the unique culture and challenges of the local church. Faithful preaching shapes healthy churches. Join fellow pastors and Bible teachers to sharpen your preaching and strengthen your church for the mission of God.
